Why use Multitest 300?

Multitest 300 allows you to efficiently and conveniently carry out all of the static tests that need to be performed on full-face masks and lung-governed demand vales (LGDV). It offers the same functionality as the Multitest ND Pult ME equipment tester but is more comfortable to use as it features electric push-buttons for pressure adjustment rather than the lever valves commonly found on equipment testers.

Multitest 300 also features an electronic low-pressure transducer for computer-assisted use in combination with the feature-packed yet easy-to-use Equipment Management program, which we develop in-house. This guarantees not only the perfect and tamper-proof documentation of the data recorded during testing but also highly accurate test results, given the transducer’s accuracy class of 0.5.

The tester has a round-thread equipment port. Thanks to a broad range of optional adapters for masks and LGDVs, it is also possible to test a wide variety of equipment with other connector/port types from a large number of manufacturers.

The required levels of positive and negative pressure as well as the necessary flow rates for opening-pressure tests and closing-pressure tests are supplied by the built-in pump.

Lung-governed demand valves are connected to the equipment port for testing, while masks with five-point head harnesses are strapped onto the inflatable dummy head. The head, which comes with a clamp for fastening it to a table or a workbench, guarantees that the masks sit properly on a human-like face during testing. In combination with optional accessories, Multitest 300 can also be used for testing many makes and models of two-point helmet masks.

Available models

Multitest 300 does not have a pressure indicator, and a computer is required for equipment testing. However, we also offer models with a low-pressure gauge (Multitest 300 ⁠M) or a digital pressure indicator (Multitest 300 ⁠D) that can be used with or without a computer.

The low-pressure gauge of Multitest 300 ⁠M is 100 mm in diameter and has a finely graduated scale, making it easy to take pressure readings with perfect accuracy. Moreover, there is a zero-offset calibration screw.
